What does this position do?

Support branch operations:

Work with branches daily to create accurate invoices for our customers and handle issues that arise
Handle accounts receivable and work with branches on collections
Process accounts payable with an auditor’s eye
Maintain monthly debt schedules, financial statements, depreciation reports, and tax reporting

What do we require?

High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to work quickly, independently, and resourcefully with minimum supervision
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented personality that demands accuracy and consistency
An innate sense of urgency
Drive to exceed customer expectations, both internal and external

What would be perfect for the position?

Minimum 3 years of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collection experience
Microsoft Great Plains Accounting experience or other accounting software

We are seeking an energetic individual interested in gaining mechanical knowledge and capable of keeping up in the fast-paced rental industry. The individual will need to be able to quickly grasp basic shop/mechanical knowledge in relation to our equipment. Pickup and delivery of equipment from customer locations/ job sites will be a key function of the position. Urgency and punctuality are a must to be considered for this position. Driver/Shop Helper Plain City, OH

Air Equipment Rental Corp is expanding! We are looking for a driver/shop tech to grow our business. As a small business, we need a team player with a task-oriented attitude who can play multiple roles throughout a day or week, from maintaining the fleet and delivering equipment to housekeeping, all while providing superior customer service all along the way. Hours are 7:30 am - 4:00 pm unless otherwise necessary. Pay will be commensurate with abilities/experience.

Requirements

You must be able or be able to learn how to diagnose and fix routine mechanical issues and perform required preventative maintenance on portable diesel air compressors. Must be able to haul equipment to and from job sites safely – A clean driving record is an absolute must. Ability to interact with customers, phone diagnostics, job-site walk-throughs, paperwork, parts help, etc. We are a 24/7 business, although infrequent emergencies will occur as a part of our business, and occasional on-call availability is required. Desire to be an integral part of a growing business, and the drive to foster that growth.

Responsibilities

Transport equipment safely
Maintain necessary records and logs, obtain necessary signatures and receipts
Troubleshoot, diagnose, inspect, and repair a variety of diesel air compressors or at least willing to learn
Perform preventative maintenance and oil changes as directed by manufacturer recommendations
Provides excellent service to every customer, internal and external at all times
Maintain a clean vehicle and work area
A positive attitude is a must
Instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures as required

Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge

Ability to lift items weighing upwards to 75 lbs. repeatedly
Valid Drivers License with a clean record
Experience in diesel engine repair preferred (John Deere, Cummins, and Caterpillar)
Experience with diesel air compressors, or construction equipment repair is a plus
Availability for occasional after-hour service calls as needed
Tools necessary to complete the work would be a plus
Basic modern business tool competency - Internet, spreadsheet, word processing, etc.
Maintain safe operations by adhering to all safety procedures and policies
Strong verbal and written skills required

Fleet Mechanic Nashville, TN

We are looking for a fleet technician to join a small close-knit team who wants to be an active member of a growing rental business.

Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, inspecting, and repairing a variety of portable air compressors.

• Perform responsibilities with little to no supervision.

• Perform job site visits and repairs as needed.

• Complete repair orders, records, and logs as needed.

• Perform preventative maintenance as prescribed by manufacturer recommendations.

• Communicate and troubleshoot customer issues and problems on privately owned and company-owned equipment.

What we require:

• Experience in diesel engine repair preferred. Our equipment is equipped with all the major engine brands.

• Experience with equipment rental business or construction equipment repair is a plus.

• Detail oriented, work accurately, and able to set priorities in an occasionally high-pressure environment.

• Availability for after-hour service calls as needed.

• Tools necessary to complete the work.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Maintain safe operations by adhering to all safety procedures and policies.

• Willingness to step outside of traditional roles to help on other tasks and aid the forward movement of the branch when necessary.
